Welcome to the HDI SE Region, consisting of the best HDI Local Chapters anywhere! The Southeast Region bands together a community of service and support professionals from your neighbors in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and southern Virginia.

HDI's Local Chapters offer the opportunity to belong to a strong community offering programs, education, and networking opportunities with a focus on the service and support industry.

The 3rd Annual HDI SE Region LCO Summit

HDI SE Summit Join other HDI Local Chapter Officers from all over the Southeast region for a weekend of sharing ideas, networking, and fun! The Summit will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Ayersley, on Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 8 AM - 6 PM in Charlotte, NC.

This year, we will have our first keynote speaker: Chris Dancy from ServiceSphere, our newest SE Region sponsor! Chris is an expert in social media and will be teaching us how to use social media to help grow our chapters. Additionally, Chris will be holding a full day class on Sunday, September 26th, at a deeply discounted price should you want to attend. There are also events scheduled before and after the Summit should you wish to attend. On Friday, September 24th, there will be a group outing to a white water facility. On Sunday, September 26th, there will be an outing to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Peak 10 Wins HDI Team Excellence Award

HDI, the world's largest membership association for IT service and technical support professionals and the premier certification body for the industry, announced Peak 10 as the winner of the 2010 HDI Team Excellence Award for External Support. This award was presented at the 2010 HDI World Conference on Technical Service and Support held recently in Orlando, Fla.

“Clients come to Peak 10 for expertise in hosting and managing online systems and delivery of 24x7 comprehensive support, which demands that our Support team be able to address both centralized and localized issues within the scope of the various service level agreements in place for each customer,” said David Jones, the president and chief executive officer of Peak 10.

HDI Southeast AOY Wins HDI National AOY!

The Help Desk Institute has presented its National Analyst of the Year award to Michael Yon, a Southeast Corporate operations & support specialist and winner of the HDI First Coast Jacksonville Chapter and SE Regional Analyst of the year titles. Winners were announced at the recent Help Desk Institute (HDI) international annual conference in Orlando where Yon was honored. HDI is the world’s largest membership association for IT service and support professionals and the premier certification body for the industry.

This coveted award is given to the service desk professional that demonstrates outstanding customer service and knowledge of best practices in the service desk industry. Yon’s quest for the national honor began when he won his local HDI First Coast Chapter’s Analyst of the Year for 2009 and went on to win again at the regional level for the Southeast. The competition includes winners from regions across both the U.S. and Canada.
